SACRAMENTO – The California State Senate today approved Senate Bill 934 by Senator Patricia Bates (R-Laguna Niguel) that would eliminate filing fees for non-profit organizations applying for a state tax exemption. Senator Bates authored SB 934 in partnership with the Franchise Tax Board (FTB).

BGCO has been providing meals to the community’s youth since May 4th, offering fresh-made lunches and snacks to children under the age of 18. Due to this generous funding, BGCO will continue to provide curbside lunch pick up throughout the summer. Since beginning the program, BGCO has served over 12,000 meals and snacks.
