OBR’s site preparation activities will officially kick-off on Tuesday, January 29, 2019. Official groundbreaking and construction start will be February 6, 2019. Construction will be ongoing through the summer of 2020. As a good neighbor, our team will work methodically to minimize

Oceanside, CA (JANUARY, 2019) – Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside (BGCO) received $1,000 from The Union Bank Foundation to grow and expand the STREAMing Ahead Program.
Oceanside Adventures, a luxury Whale Watching company located in front of the historic Light House in Oceanside Harbor, encountered 2 gray whales last week on two different tours.

This event is our official kick-off for our Annual Giving Campaign. We will offer the best food, wine and beer North County has to offer.

The San Diego Superior Court is now seeking dedicated residents with sound judgment from throughout the county to serve on the 2019/2020 San Diego County Grand Jury. The Grand Jury investigates citizen complaints and performs its traditional function as a “watchdog” over government agencies. It does not conduct criminal investigations.
Oceanside, CA--North County Transit District (NCTD) has achieved full implementation of the federally-mandated Positive Train Control (PTC) safety system for 58.5 miles of track it controls within the San Diego County portion of the Los Angeles-San Diego-San Luis Obispo Rail Corridor (LOSSAN). NCTD is one of only four agencies across the country that has completed PTC implementation by the federally-mandated deadline of December 31, 2018.

Dominic’s Italian Restaurant Shows the World How to Make a Winning Bacon Pie Orange Beach, AL, Nov. 11, 2018 – Forty competitors from all culinary backgrounds reported to the Kitchen Arena at the World Food Championships (WFC) in Orange Beach, Alabama, to compete in the Bacon World Championships (BWC). The WFC is a plethora of cooking and baking competitions held over a five-day period, ranging from Barbecue, Burgers and Chicken, to Seafood, Chili and Desserts. U.S. Pizza Team member Tore Trupiano, of Dominic’s Italian Restaurant in Oceanside, California, made the trip to test his culinary prowess. Trupiano placed 10th in the world overall for his beautiful bacon dishes. The Veterans Memorial Museum of Balboa Park in San Diego cordially invite you to a Veterans Day art exhibition of paintings by Gulf War Navy veteran artist W.B. of Cynthia's Artistic Expressions for our new art gallery inauguration. John Lewis, Andrew Aydin, and Nate Powell. In keeping with this historic selection, an Oceanside Public Library panel discussion will highlight the significant themes of the book.
